There are no page numbers in Baret’s Alvearie. There are twenty-three letter headings, with no Z listings, and with the I/J and U/V entries grouped together. Each letter, or letter combination, has its entries numbered, although not every new word receives a new number. The object itself that is provided on this website in digital form has for some time been housed in a private unit at a secure facility. We hope in due course to be able to provide it a more appropriate home and look forward to that day.
